tour of Agra visiting the world famous Taj Mahal, built by the
Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to
enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit Agra Fort, containing the
Pearl Mosque - the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of
Agra
stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and Emperor Akbar started
the construction in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private
audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an
ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock
Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly

breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The

, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late
16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable
fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition
... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been
like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza,
the largest gateway in the world. After visiting continue drive to
Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur & check-in at hotel. Night stay in

Morning after breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort.

JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the
five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the
country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical
instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "
Palace
of
Winds
" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey
structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine
trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and
windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal

Morning after
breakfast drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar &

hotel. Later explore Pushkar. Pushkar boasts temples, though few
are as ancient as you might expect at such an important pilgrimage
site, since many were deserted by Aurangzeb and subsequently
rebuilt. The most famous is the
Brahma
Temple
, said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this
deity. It's marked by red spire, and over the entrance gateway is
the hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have
personally chosen Pushkar as its site. Night stay in Pushkar

- An extensive sight-seeing tour of
New Delhi
would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the
ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate,
Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a
drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in
