The Aravallis have provided the backdrop for several of Rajasthan’s princely kingdoms, but in the Mewar region, not only the landscape brilliant, so are the historic sites that await the visitors, allowing glimpses into a martial past.
Day 01 :
Arrive in Udaipur by air from Delhi/Mumbai. Visit City Palaces, and its lake palaces, lakeside gardens and other attractions.
Day 02 :
Drive to Mount Abu. Afternoon, visit Achalgarh Fort and Dilwara Jain Temples.
Day 03 :
Leisurely drive to Ranakpur, the temple complex with sculptured Jain images and Iconography also, overnight stay.
Day 04 :
Drive to Kumbhalgarh Fort, and spend your day exploring the world within its ramparts. A drive through the sanctuary is also possible.
Day 05 :
Drive back to Udaipur, sightseeing at Eklingji Temple, and the ruins of Nagda Temples. Back in Udaipur, take the flight to Delhi/Mumbai/Jaipur.  |
