Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet & assistance at the airport & later transfer to the
hotel. Check in at hotel, take rest. Night Stay in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Samod Palace
Morning breakfast & check-out the hotel, poceed for new delhi half day
sightseeing.
New Delhi :
An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a
visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the
ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the
Diplomatic Enclave. Later afternoon drive to Samode. Arrive Samode &
check in at hotel.Evening visit for Samod Palacewhich was built by the
Maharaja of Jaipur Jai Singh 2nd Finance minister. The palace is
renowned for it's Shekawati style paintings & lactic work of Sheesh
Mahal. The palace is surrounded by hills, which makes for truly picturesque settings. Also visit the beautifully landscaped garden of
Samode Bagh. Adjoining the garden is the heritage hotel - Samode palace,
which is an oasis of luxury. Night Stay in Samode.
Day 03 : Samod - Jaipur
Morning after breakfast & drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur & check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit for Jaipur sightseeing.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Pushkar - Kuchaman
Morning drive to Kuchaman enroute visiting Pushkar to see a breath
taking view of the Ghats & the people taking a dip in the Sarovar also
visit the temple of Lord Brahma creator of the world the only temple in Pushkar wonder around the lively market of Pushkar & see the beautiful article on display. Later afternoon drive o Kuchaman. Arrive Kuchaman &
check in at hotel. Night stay in Kuchaman.
Day 05 : Kuchaman - Nagaur - Bikaner
Morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Kuchaman - a small village known
for it's impressive Kuchaman fort, perched atop a 100ft. high cliff,
converted into a heritage hotel now. Also visit a colorful bazaar
located below the fort to shop for handicrafts & fabrics. Then drive to
Bikaner enroute visiting Nagaur. Visit the Nagaur fort- this magnificent
fort houses a number of places, temples, mosques gardens & fountains.
Also visit the Tar keen Dargah - a very scared place for the Sufis.
Later afternoon proceed for Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner & check in at hotel.
Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 06 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Sam
Morning proceed for city sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Bikaner is named
after its founder Rao Bika Ji in 1488. But long before this, the city
was trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia.
Bikaner's dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine.
The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 Kms wall, which can be
entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and
has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded
by Raja Rai Singh the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37
pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs.
Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, and Bhanda Sagar Jain and
Deshnoke Rat temple. Late afternoon drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer & proceed for SAM.
Arrive Swiss tent and check-in. late evening enjoys folk dances,
Rajasthani music, and campfire along with the dinner. Night stay in
Jaisalmer (Swiss Tent).
Day 07 : Sam -Jaisalmer - Pokaran
Morning drive to Pokaran. Arrive Pokaran, check in at hotel & later
proceed to visit the 15th century fortress where the 3rd Mughal emperor,
Akbar the Great, was born in 1543. The bazaar in the middle of the
village is very colorful & full of flavors. Back to the hotel. Night
stay in Pokaran.
Day 08 : Pokaran - Jodhpur - Luni
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur & later proceed for sightseeing
tour of Jodhpur, visiting Mehrangarh fort, the stronghold of the Rathore
Princes from 1453AD. Te view of the city from the rampart wall is
breathtaking. Later drive to the world of animals - Luni, visiting the
Bishnoi village. Bishnois are the tribe who respect life in every form.
Later witness the Opium ceremony with Patel's- a rich tribe. Back to the
hotel. Night stay in Luni.
Day 09 : Loni - Ranakpur - Ghanerao
Morning drive to Ghanerao visiting enroute 15th century Jain Temple of
Ranakpur. Arrive Ghanerao, check in at hotel & later proceed for
sightseeing of Ghanerao that has plenty of Hindu temples. Most amazing
is the temple of Gajanand with a life- size statue of the goddesses
Riddhi & Siddhi. Back to the hotel. Night stay in Ghanerao.
 Day 10 : Ghanerao - Khumbalgarh - Udaipur
Morning drive to Khumbalgarh. Arrive Khumbalgarh & proceed for
sightseeing tour of Khumbalgarh visiting Khumbalgarh fort situated atop
Aravali ranges that has yet been invincible due to its vicious
topography & houses a number of temples, places, gardens & water storage
facilities. Also visit the sanctuary & villages of bhills nearby which
are known for its skills in using bow & arrow. Later afternoon drive to
Udaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 11 : Udaipur -Chittorgarh - Bassi
Morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in
1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most
romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the
City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Shaelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort
for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the
Pratap Memorial. Later afternoon drive to Chittorgarh. Arrive Chittorgarh & visit the world famous Chittorgarh fort, which is crowning
180 meters hill & covers about 70 acres. On the crest of the enormous
gray hills griddled by massive walls & seven majestic gateways. Later evening drive to Bundi. Arrive Bundi & check in at hotel. Night stay in
Bundi.
Day 12 : Bassi - Bundi - Ranthambor
Day 13 : Ranthambor
Morning breakfast & visit to Ranthambhor National Park. Sawai Madhopur
spread over an area of 392.59 kms of forest with so many water falls,
lakes, kunds, Ranthambhor National Park is one of the famous parks for
the Tiger Sambhar and Deer.Night Stay in Ranthambhor.
Day 14 : Ranthambor - Deeg - Bharatpur
Morning breakfast & drive to Bharatpur via Deeg fort. This fort is 40km
from Bharatpur.Visit Deeg fort, with massive walls and a shallow wide
moat, constructed on a elevated plain on the eastern side of the huge
Roop Sagar. Wonder across the ramparts of history, supported by a couple
of bastions, and shielding the past with a huge cannon, mounted at the
corner. Walk under the impressive gateway protected with anti-elephant
spikes. The largest bastion is towards the north-west corner, known as Lakkha Burj or the principal watch-tower. Climb on this 70-foot-high
tower, and look at the green countryside sprawled around. It is said
that on a sunny day, one could keep a watch on the neighbouring
countryside for as far as 10 km!.Later drive to Bharatpur. Arrive
bharatpur, check-in at hotel. Night Stay in Bharatpur.
Day 15 : Bharatpur - Agra
Early morning proceed for bird century on rickshaws. The most
spectacular water- bird sanctuary features nesting indigenous water-
birds and migratory birds. from october till december, the indigenous
water- birds nest around the lake, from december on the migratory Geese,
Duck and Cranes are the main feature of the bird sanctuary.back to the
hotel & drive to Agra.Enroute Visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40
kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15
years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the
Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Arrive
Agra and check in hotel. later visit Bharatpur bird sanctuary on
rickshaws. The most spectacular water- bird sanctuary features nesting
indigenous water- birds and migratory birds. from october till december,
the indigenous water- birds nest around the lake, from december on the
migratory Geese, Duck and Cranes are the main feature of the bird
sanctuary.back to the hotel. Night Stay in Bhartpur.
Day 16 : Agra - Delhi - Departure
Morning breakfast & drive to Delhi. Arrive delhi and visit to India
gate, Presidance house, Kutob minar, & later after proceed for
international airt port catch to flight and back to the home.  |
